You record it once
Install the recorder on your Mac or Windows machine and walk through the process the way you would in person. Nobody else installs anything.

They join as viewers and watch in the browser. You can see who watched, so 'did you get to it yet' stops being a conversation.

The process leaves when the person does.
Every team has someone who knows how the thing actually works. When they are on holiday, in a meeting, or gone for good, the work waits for them — and the answer gets explained from scratch to the next person who asks.
A recorded library is the version of that knowledge that does not take a day off. Six minutes, one job per demo, filed in the Channel where someone will actually look for it.
You pay for who publishes, not for who watches
Most video tools charge for every person who records, which is why team video gets expensive right as it starts working. Demosix charges by how many people can publish and manage your Networks. The people you are training never cost anything, however many of them there are.
Questions owners ask first
Does everyone on my team need to install something?
No. Only the person recording installs the Demosix Recorder, on Mac or Windows. Everyone you invite watches in their browser on any device, including phones.
Do I pay for every person who watches?
No. Viewers are unlimited and free on every plan. Plans differ by how many people can publish and manage Networks, so a team where one person records and twenty people watch is the cheapest case.
Is the trial really free, and do you need a card?
Private Networks are part of the paid plans, and the 60-day trial is genuinely free — but starting it does require a card up front. You can cancel from billing settings at any point during the trial and you will not be charged.
How is this different from just sending Loom links?
The recording is the easy part. Demosix is the library around it: Networks and Channels so a new hire can find the one walkthrough they need, invite-only access so it stays internal, and a view list so you can see who actually watched.
Can people outside my company see the videos?
Not on a Private Network. Access is by email invite only, playback is signed, and the content is never public or searchable.
How long can a demo be?
Up to six minutes. That is the point of the product — one job per demo, so people can find and rewatch the exact step they are stuck on instead of scrubbing an hour-long recording.
